This is my new favorite salad.
My sister made it for our 4th of July party and I was in love.
I love crunchy food!
Broccoli Cole Slaw
2 3 ounce bags Oriental flavor Ramen Noodles
3/4 stick butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
2 12 ounce bags broccoli cole slaw mix
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
chopped green onions, for garnish
3/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 ramen noodle seasoning packets
Place ramen noodles in plastic bag and crush with rolling pin.
Melt butter in large skillet on low-medium heat. Add crushed noodles and almonds. Stir until noodles and almonds are just golden brown.
Meanwhile, combine canola oil, brown sugar, vinegar and seasoning packets to small bowl. Stir until well combined.
Place broccoli cole slaw mix in large salad bowl, add toasted ramen noodle mix and dressing. Toss to coat. Add sunflower seeds and green onion for garnish.
