I've been on a smoothie kick for a few weeks-----mixing it up this time with blueberries and strawberries. I like to throw different things in here and there. Blueberries are incredibly healthy, so tasty and I LOVE how they pretty up my smoothies.
This recipe is just enough to fill up the blender. Perfect for a quick breakfast.
Strawberry Banana Orange Yogurt Smoothie
1 banana 2 cups frozen strawberries 1 cup orange juice 1 cup non fat plain yogurt 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract 2 cups ice sprinkle of sugar, optional
Add banana, strawberries, orange juice and yogurt to blender. Mix for a few seconds until smooth. Gradually add vanilla and ice. Add a little more orange juice if needed. You can also add a little sugar too :)
