I'm still finding great recipes to make with our Homemade Cinnamon Applesauce.
Another one for the recipe book :)
These would be great for EASTER. My husband isn't a fan of the "Carrot Cake", so these lovers are a great alternative.
Applesauce Bars with Cream Cheese Frosting
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/3 cup brown sugar
2 cups cinnamon applesauce
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
Combine butter and sugar, mix until smooth. Stir in applesauce, eggs and vanilla.
Combine flour, soda, salt and pumpkin pie spice. Whisk until combined. Gradually add to sugar mixture. Mix until well combined.
Spread in greased and floured 9x13 pan. Bake 350 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool on wire rack. When cool frost with cream cheese frosting.
YES! We like a LOT of frosting. We like it A LOT :)

Cream Cheese Frosting
8 ounce cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar until you get the right consistency. Beat until smooth.
