I spotted this Starbucks Pumpkin Pound Cake on Pinterest and the word "Starbucks" and "Pound Cake" caught my eye. YUM!
We loved it, the only thing I did different was held back on the cloves a bit. I'm not too much of a clove kind of girl.
Starbucks Pumpkin Pound Cake
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves (I used 1/8)
3 egg whites
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 cup canned pumpkin
Whisk together dry ingredients, set aside.
In large mixing bowl, combine sugars and pumpkin. Mix until just combined. Add egg whites and milk. Gradually add dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
Pour in greased bread pan and bake 350 degrees for 1 hour, or until toothpick test comes out clean.
