Such an easy recipe that turns out perfect every time.
1 1/4 cups water
2 TB butter, melted
3 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup rolled oats
2 TB brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. active dry yeast
Add ingredients to bread machine pan in the order recommended by your manufacturer.
The order I use: water, butter, flour, salt, oats, sugar and making a small indent in flour mixture without touching liquid, add yeast.
Note: I used bread machine yeast. You could also switch out 1 cup of the flour for wheat flour, if you want a healthier version. :)
Press white bread, 1 1/2 pound loaf, light and Start.
Let cool on wire rack :)
Brush with butter when warm and sprinkle with additional oats if desired.
