1 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup milk chocolate chips
In bowl combine flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside.
In large mixing bowl cream butter and add sugars until well combined.
Add eggs, one at a time. Mix until well combined. Stir in vanilla.
Gradually add your flour mixture. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
Bake 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until cookies just begin to brown around edges. Cool cookies on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Note: Do not over bake. Cookies will not look done until they are cooled. For a very chewy soft cookie, do not over bake and store in airtight container.
