A great Super-Easy Summertime Strawberry Pie recipe :)
2 cups fresh strawberries, washed and sliced
2/4 cup boiling water
1 3 ounce package Jello Strawberry flavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
1 8 ounce container Cool Whip
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crust
Spritz strawberries with lemon juice and divide. Refrigerate until ready to use.
Add boiling water to gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
Add enough ice to cold water to make 1 cup. Add to gelatin and stir until slightly thickened.
Remove any un-melted ice.
Whisk in Cool Whip and stir in 1 cup of chopped berries.
Refrigerate 20 minutes or until mixture is very thick. Spoon in ready made pie crust.
Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
Garnish with additional berries and cream :)
