I have to tell you, sometimes I crack myself up. Dan says I'm the only one he knows that laughs at their own jokes and thinks they are so much funnier than they really are.
1 bag scone dough or fry bread recipe
vegetable oil for frying
1 pound ground beef or turkey burger
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. salt
1 package taco seasoning mix
water, as directed on seasoning package
1 package colby jack cheese, shredded
1 small can sliced black olives
1 can jalapeno refried beans
1 container sour cream
I have no clue how to make fry bread or scone dough, as we call it. Our little grocery store carries scone dough in their bakery. Makes life a little easier......
Cut dough in four equal pieces. Roll in a ball and flatten with rolling pin. Sometimes we just cut the dough in half and make two huge monster tacos.
Fry on medium heat in skillet using vegetable oil. Watch carefully, turning only once when dough is golden brown and beautiful.
Meanwhile, cook ground burger, onions, salt, pepper until browned. Drain grease and add your favorite taco seasoning mix, following directions on package.
Top your Navajo taco with refried beans, salsa, cheese, meat, sour cream, cheese, lettuce and olives.
Please feel free to crack yourself up using sour cream for eyes, nose and a mouth.
This guy sports a good look'in nose and lettuce hair :)
Have FUN! :) Lettuce EAT! ha!! See funny stuff!
