This is one of our favorites. It's good anytime of the year and so fast and easy.
2 pounds ground turkey or beef
1/4 cup celery, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
2 TB flour
1 1/2 cups ketchup
3/4 cup water
1 TB vinegar
1 TB lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 TB brown sugar
In large skillet cook turkey burger with onions and celery until meat is no longer pink. Drain off fat.
Stir in flour, mixing until well combined. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
Place in crock pot on low for about two to three hours.
Serve with toasted Kaiser buns and dill pickles. Enjoy!
