This is my husband's famous Lasagna :) I begged him to write down the recipe so I could share it with you.
It's absolutely the best........thanks baby!!
1 pound ground turkey burger
3/4 cups fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/8 cup dried minced onions
2 29 ounce cans tomato sauce
1 TB garlic powder
2 tsp. sugar
Lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
15 ounce ricotta cheese
16 ounce package mozzarella cheese, shredded
Brown turkey burger with mushrooms and onions until meat is no longer pink. Add tomato sauce, garlic powder and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for at least an hour.
Meanwhile, boil lasagna noodles and drain. Set aside.
Combine ricotta cheese and egg in small bowl. Stir until combined.
In 15 x 10 1/2 baking dish layer noodles, ricotta mixture, sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Repeat.
Bake 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
