These are too good to be true, really! They are based on the "Pizza Factory" breadsticks. Found the recipe over at favoritefamilyrecipes.com.
Yes, they are as good as they look :)
1 1/2 cups warm water
1 TB dry active yeast
2 TB sugar
Add to mixing bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
3 1/2 cups flour
Mix until well combined and let rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out on floured surface in square shape. Brush with melted butter, garlic sprinkle, parmesan and kosher salt. Fold dough in half and cut in 1 inch strips and twist.
Bake in a 400 degree oven on cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush with additional butter, garlic sprinkle and kosher salt. I always subsitute garlic powder or garlic salt with "Garlic Sprinkle". You can find it in the spice section.
