These are great with or without cheese.
We make them every year for St. Patrick's Day with a few drops of food coloring :)
6-8 potatoes, peeled
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup heavy cream or milk
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1 cup Colby/Jack cheese, shredded
green food coloring, optional
St. Patty Day party picks, optional
Boil potatoes in water for 20 minutes, or until fork tender. Drain and transfer to mixing bowl.
Add butter, milk, garlic powder and onion salt. Mash with potato masher until light and fluffy. Add food coloring if desired.
Transfer to casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Top with cheese and Bake 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese melts.
1 package Rhodes white rolls
Take out the amount of rolls you want to use and refrigerate overnight in large zip lock bag or place on the counter for 2-3 hours.
Spray muffin tin with cooking spray. Place 3 rolls in each tin to make clover. Brush rolls with butter. Cover with saran wrap that has been sprayed and let rise until double in size, about 2-3 hours.
Bake 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Brush with additional butter. If desired sprinkle with "Garlic Sprinkle"
Don't forget to wear green!
