Bake cupcakes as directed on box and let cool. Color cream cheese frosting with a few drops of orange food coloring, stirring until you get just the right color for you.
Decorate with sprinkles and top with skull toothpick, these are from Martha Stewart but you could easily make your own.
Cream Cheese Frosting
1 8 ounce cream cheese
3/4 cups butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pound powdered sugar
Combine butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla until well combined. Gradually add powdered sugar.
