Freezing Green Beans
Wash beans and cut ends off. Snap in half or keep whole.
Meanwhile, bring large pot of water to a boil. Add green beans when water is boiling. Wait for water to begin to boil again, and then set your timer for 3 minutes. Have an ice water bath ready and then drain your beans and place in ice water. Time again for 3 minutes.
Dry your beans with paper towels or a salad spinner (I need one of these!). Place in freezer bags, label and store for up to 12 months.
Yay, EASY! These will be great for soups.
